Brittany King, LMHC
Brittany is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that has been working in the behavioral health field for more than eight years in various treatment settings. She received her master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology with certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Aaron T. Beck Institute for Cognitive Studies at Assumption University in Worcester, MA.
Brittany has been in various leadership positions across outpatient, inpatient, and residential treatment settings. As a leader, it is important to Brittany that she provides the clinical team with the foundation of skills to provide quality care in a therapeutic environment. Brittany’s goal as Regional Executive Director is to provide diverse clinical programming that meets the individual needs of all patients and to oversee superb operations at our facility.
Brittany has a strong passion for helping those suffering from mental health and substance use disorders build a better quality of life.
Michael Shore, M.D.
Dr. Michael Shore is dually Board Certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. He has been honored with a Life Distinguished Fellowship by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and Distinguished Fellowship by the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Shore is a Past President of the New Jersey Society of Addiction Medicine, a Past Senior Vice President of the New Jersey Psychiatric Association and served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Shore is most passionate about patient care, and considers himself primarily to be a clinician. Dr. Shore’s vast experience includes Medical Directorship of Inpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Centers, as well as Outpatient substance abuse programs. He maintains a busy Private Practice of Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine in Cherry Hill New Jersey.
Karen is a native of south Jersey and grew up in the Pine Barrens. Karen started her career in the Atlantic City Casino’s after attending a year of college. In 2006 Karen earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 2009. Karen began her social work career at a non-profit working with Intellectually disabled adults dually diagnosed with severe mental health and severe and pervasive mentally ill patients as a group home manager.
Karen earned a Master of Social Work degree in 2012 from Stockton University. Karen worked as a group home manager for 10 years and moved into addictions in 2019 to broaden her scope of knowledge. Karen came to Harmony Healing Center in 2021. Karen resides at home with her husband of 30 years where she enjoys sewing, reading, traveling, and visiting with her family which includes to adult children of whom she is very proud.
Karen considers herself a “cat lady” but has totally fallen head over heels in love with her boxer named Cookie-dough.
Ashley is a Licensed Associate Counselor that has been working in the field of co-occurring disorders for the last 4 years. She received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University School of Education in Baltimore, MD and is accredited by the National Board for Certified Counselors. Ashley has worked in various treatment settings including methadone maintenance, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient. Ashley utilizes evidenced based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and mindfulness training. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, going on hikes, and doing yoga. Ashley has a huge passion for helping those suffering from mental health and substance use disorders create the better life that they deserve.
Tim Bowdoin graduated from Eastern University in 2020 with a masters in clinical psychology with a focus in trauma studies. Tim currently has two years experience working in substance abuse providing high quality groups and individual services. Tim is passionate about helping those with mental health and substance use disorders. Tim is known around the office for his outgoing personality and love of Philly sports.
Zoe Holmes was born and raised in Muncy Pennsylvania. After struggling with drug and alcohol addiction beginning at the age of 16 and being in and out of countless detox and treatment centers, Zoe got clean in February of 2018. She has always had a passion for helping people and is very active in the Recovery community. Zoe started out working as a behavioral health technician and used her personal experience to quickly move up to case manager. She is now able to share her experience with other clients who have been through the same struggles while helping them reintegrate back into the community to build a better quality of life.
